This was a highly publicized event on Treasure Island in San Francisco, CA, that Death Angel headlined. The winning prize was $10k and we came close to winning, but then found out that the promoter took all the prize money and disappeared. Not sure if they ever caught up w/ him but everyone was talking about breaking his legs and stuff.
This was when Sam Diosdado was on bass – he never ended up recording anything with us but he was the one who helped us keep things together after our original bassist, and founding member, Warner Harrison passed.
